The practice of woodworking, the ritual, the craftsmanship, and the constant learning have become deeply therapeutic. It takes time, patience, and presence, much like our own journey of growth and healing. Each handcrafted piece reflects this artistry, honoring the natural beauty of sustainably sourced wood and the hands that shape it.
Hi there,
I’m Brianna, a Santa Rosa native, and I’ve been creating custom wood art since I was 20. My journey started with large abstract pieces on wood and canvas, using spray paint to bring bold visions to life. Over the years, I found myself drawn more and more to working exclusively with wood, where I feel the most profound connection.
My art is deeply personal. It’s shaped by love, loss, and everything in between. I see something different in wood - its rawness, its history, its potential. Grief has shaped the way I understand the world, and in turn, the way I create. Each piece is more than just wood; it’s a story of transformation, resilience, and beauty.
For me, woodworking is spiritual. I work outside under the sun, letting the world around me inspire the process. My tools are spread out, music drifts through the air, and I lose myself in the movement of carving away everything that isn’t meant to be, revealing the form that was always waiting within the wood. It’s a ritual, a practice, and a continuous learning experience that feels both grounding and healing.
I take my time with every piece, sitting with it, and listening to the story it wants to tell. Wood has a way of revealing itself if you’re patient enough to see it. My hope is that when you hold one of my handcrafted pieces, you feel the same connection I did while creating it - a sense of warmth, intention, and something truly one-of-a-kind.
Within the wood, I see myself, always evolving, shaped by time and experience. The path isn’t always easy. It can be challenging, even heartbreaking, but there is also wonder in it. This work has the power to teach, to heal, and to transform, just as we do if we allow ourselves to lean in.
